The Craft

Made using Lippan Kaam by artisans in Kutch, Gujarat, this bag features an unusually complex pattern of interlocking geometric forms, each hand-sculpted in clay and set with mirrors of varying sizes. The gold-tone metal handle is solid and weighty. The density of this pattern means artisans spend several days on a single piece; nothing here was produced quickly.

Care
