The Craft
Crafted by artisans in Kutch, Gujarat using Lippan Kaam, the lotus stems on the left panel are hand-sculpted in raised clay relief while the half-mandala on the right is set with silver mirrors in concentric arcs. The white handle and border are inlaid with mirror fragments to complete the surround. This is one of the most technically demanding pieces in the collection, the raised relief must fully dry before mirrors can be placed.

Care
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not submerge in water or use cleaning products on the Lippan panel. The hand-set mirrors are durable but should be handled with care. Store in the dust bag provided when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight. The white leather is susceptible to marks, store in the dust bag consistently.
