The Craft
The Lippan art strip across the flap uses geometric motifs, triangles, diamonds, arrows, that are among the oldest patterns in the Kutch visual lexicon, found on textiles, walls and jewellery for centuries. Made by artisans in Kutch, Gujarat using the traditional mirror-and-clay technique, the strip is then fitted into the structured vegan leather exterior, finished with gold hardware throughout.
